Some teasing at Infolinks, can you guess? I bet contextual ads like Adsense.

Who wants to bet with me?

Infolinks did a bit of teasing on their blog and facebook about some new feature and asked us to guess what it is..
See their teasing message:
"
Big changes are headed your way at Infolinks, and when we say big, we mean BIG. Over the last few months we have introduced lots of exciting changes, new products and more for our community of Infolinkers. However, none of these great innovations even come close to what is in store for you in the next week.

Hold on, because these changes are guaranteed to improve your user experience, results, opportunities and even Infolinks earnings. Our brand new reveal has been in the works for some time now as we’ve refined every aspect to deliver a new level of service and presentation to our Infolinks publishers and advertisers alike.
"

So for me it's clear that they're introducing the normal contextual ads such as adsense and chitika are already doing.. And it is big news only because infolinks took years to finally offer that to their publishers..
So I think it is that, because if it is not that, then what can it be?

Ads on images or in RSS feeds ?

Well since nobody made a bet with me I haven't lost anything, but the big news at infolinks is in fact nothing, just a rebranding of all their services.

But it is well done, they have given a good name for each of the 4 ad types starting with IN like INfolinks.

It's nice, here they are:

Inframe:
Capitalize on browser margins with attractive display ads.

Insearch:
Enhance your search traffic with ads relevant to users’ searched terms.

Intag:
Display a tag cloud of keywords relevant to your content.

Intext:
Monetize inside the lines by highlighting your best keywords.

So whenever they'll release the standard ads that you can put on your pages with sizes such as 300x250, 728x90, etc.. The name will be easy to find, it will be "Inpage"

But they don't seem to be in a hurry..

Anyway, here are the more complete explanations for each ad type:

Broaden your advertising horizon - go beyond the frame

InFrame monetizes unused screen margins and frames your site’s layout with attractive display banner ads relevant to your content. Capitalize on the expanding width of widescreen monitors - the Infolinks In³ platform auto-detects when the browser window is wider than your web site and inserts display ads that remain stationary as users scroll down your pages. This is yet another way Infolinks drives revenue from under-monetized areas of your sites.

One of a kind - give your search traffic a new direction

InSearch monetizes only your search traffic without disturbing your returning visitors. InSearch only appears when needed, introducing visitors who’ve arrived via search to an unobtrusive overlay ad. A few seconds after it appears, InSearch shrinks down to a quiet headline. InSearch units reduce your bounce rate, and improve your SEO by providing an alternative to visitors hitting their browser back button. Proven to boost revenue, InSearch ads lure engagement with 30x the engagement of conventional ad units.

Good-looking and smart, too - InTag is the ultimate tag cloud

InTag draws on Infolinks’ intelligent algorithm to recognize the most valuable keywords relevant to your content and display them in an attractive tag cloud. InTag allows you to target a wider spectrum of readership with a range of relevant keywords, and exposes your readers quickly to the context of your page. Customize your InTag ads to complement the design and layout of your site.

Break from convention - advertise inside the lines

InText ads break through typical banner blindness, by scanning your content in real-time and double underlining your most valuable keywords. This creates an intelligent, interactive atmosphere where users connect with relevant brand messages and click to learn more. Infolinks balances relevancy and payouts to keep your content clean and your earnings flowing. Maintain complete control over the look and feel of your site by fully customizing the appearance and volume of InText ads on your pages.
