Tight end Luke Stocker (Round 4) and wideout Denarius Moore (Round 5) were the only Tennessee players taken in the 2011 NFL Draft, marking the first time in 18 years the Vols had two players selected.
The 1993 draft saw defensive end Todd Kelly taken in Round 1 and defensive back Dave Thomas in Round 8.

As expected, Tobias Harris has renounced his remaining eligibility with the University of Tennessee basketball program in order to make himself available for the upcoming National Basketball Association Draft.

Tennessee's basketball program will be without a McDonald's All-American on its roster in 2011-12.
One day after 2010 McDonald's A-A Tobias Harris announced he will remain in the 2011 NBA Draft, 2008 McDonald's A-A Scotty Hopson confirmed that he also will take his chances with the June 23 pro draft.

Cuonzo Martin's rookie year as Tennessee's head basketball coach went from promising to daunting in a span of 24 hours.
